Here's an article I wrote for the Northern Star about a band that came through town called White Rabbits. I really dug the band, but had to be honest about their less-than-spectacular performance the night I saw 'em.

I wear many hats. I'm a jazz drummer, first and foremost, but I'm also a singer-songwriter, music teacher, and internet radio programmer. I grew up in Tucson, AZ, attended Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, and now I live in the Chicago area. I teach over 30 drum and guitar students per week and work at AccuRadio, a global-leading webcaster. This blog, formerly titled "Cut/Paste/Repeat," was originally instated to be a drop-box for my writings at my college newspaper, but now it will be a drop-box for any array of content waiting to spring from my mind.
